The Empowering Garrison Girls (EGGs) project is a non-profit charitable organization filling the need for a global transformation in reducing gender and economic inequalities to benefit young girls from Jamaican garrison communities. Empowering Garrison Girls functions as thinking small and digging deep organization whose investment in each participant is long-term and continuous. EGGs focuses on helping young girls achieve their fullest potential by ensuring knowledge of accessing education and training opportunities beyond secondary school. EGGs participants are encouraged to practice skills and activities that foster deep-rooted academic goals. The project provides the information, support, and resources that participants will need to develop a plan for life after high school completion.
